Maintenance of Tbaytel systems and networks is necessary to ensure Tbaytel delivers quality service to you, our valued customers. We apologize for the inconvenience as we continue to make significant improvements to our Network to ensure we are meeting your expectations. We thank you for your patience and understanding, and continued support.

If you are experiencing a loss of service outside of a maintenance window, please power off your affected Tbaytel equipment for 30 seconds before powering back on again. If the service is not restored, please contact Tbaytel Technical Support.


Maintenance Alert - Residential & Business Phone - Thunder Bay North - June 6 & 13

Please be advised, Tbaytel will be performing maintenance to its Home Phone and Business Phone services with work scheduled on June 6th and June 13th between midnight and 7am.  During this maintenance, some customers in the north end of Thunder Bay may experience a brief loss of service lasting up to 20 minutes. Customers experiencing no Home Phone or Business Phone service outside the maintenance window are asked to contact technical support at 8076234400 or 1-800-264-9501.

Maintenance Alert - Mobility - Westfort - June 9

Please be advised, Tbaytel will be performing maintenance to its Mobility services with work taking place on June 9th.  Some customers in the area around Walsh and Mountdale may experience a loss of service including calls, SMS, and data, lasting up to 2 hours. Customers experiencing no service are asked to power off their mobile device for 30 seconds before powering it back on again.


 

Maintenance Alert - Connected Home & Mobility - Rosslyn Rd - June 10

Please be advised, Tbaytel will be performing maintenance to its Connect Home and Mobility services on June 10th between the hours of 8:00am to 4:00pm.  During this maintenance some customers on and around Rosslyn Rd. may experience a loss of service throughout the duration of the proposed maintenance period. As well, some customers may experience a loss of Mobility services, including calls, SMS, and data, also possibly lasting the duration of the maintenance. Customers experiencing no service outside the maintenance window are asked to power off their Tbaytel equipment or mobile device for 30 seconds before powering it back on again. 

Maintenance Alert - Mobility - McIntyre - June 12-23

Please be advised, Tbaytel will be performing maintenance to its Mobility services with work taking place between June 12th to June 23rd.  While no outage is expected, some customers in the areas around Cherry Ridge and Creekside may not be able to access the LTE network. This work is required for the preparation of 5G. Customers experiencing no service are asked to power off their mobile device for 30 seconds before powering it back on again.


Maintenance Alert - Mobility - Westfort - June 12-25

Please be advised, Tbaytel will be performing maintenance to its Mobility services with work taking place between June 12th to June 25th.  While no outage is expected, some customers in the area around Walsh and Mountdale may not be able to access the LTE network. Please be advised, Tbaytel will be performing maintenance to its Mobility services on June 13th and 14th with work taking place between 7:00am to 8:00pm on both days. During this maintenance some customers in the area surrounding Dryden along HWY 17 may experience a loss of Mobility services, including calls, SMS and data, through both days. Customers experiencing no service outside the maintenance window are asked to power off their mobile device for 30 seconds before powering it back on again.
